A Day at Quilotoa

Consider this the field trip portion of the wedding weekend. We’ll pile into a van and head to Quilotoa, a volcanic crater lake in the Andes with water so blue it hardly looks real.

Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to taste local food, including guinea pig, the bride’s favorite, and meet local artisans. Once we arrive, you can hike down into the crater if you’re feeling adventurous. The hike itself is manageable; the altitude keeps you humble. You can also enjoy the views from above in the company of the llamas. Both are excellent choices.

This is the groom’s favorite place in the world and the exact location where the groom and the Father of the Bride officially became best friends. A truly sacred site.
